Keene Rally for Public Health Support

RALLY IN KEENE TO CALL ON NH SENATOR SUPPORT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH INSURANCE OPTION NOW!On Thursday, July 9th, Working Families Win will be hosting a rally in Keene, NH, in conjunction with MoveOn.org's "Public Option Now!" Health Care Rallies nationwide. The goal of these rallies is to send a strong message to every Senator: Health care reform must include a strong public health insurance option.
With the United States Senate divided over how to move forward on national healthcare reform, now is the perfect opportunity to call on our elected officials to support a public health insurance option to make sure every American can afford quality healthcare.
Where: Central Square, Keene
When: July 9th, 4:15pm-5:30pm
Why: To thank Senator Shaheen for her support of the public health insurance option and call on Senator Gregg to support the Public Health Option
Come out to Central Square to let the public know that you support Quality, Affordable healthcare. After the rally we will take action to let our elected officials know how we feel about healthcare reform.

Congress is making major decisions on President Obama's proposal to bring down the cost of healthcare for working families.
But some special interest groups want to block reforms that will drive down costs - leaving millions of workers unsure if they can keep up with exploding healthcare costs.
Make sure the people who represent you in Washington D.C. know that if healthcare isn't affordable for ordinary working people, the healthcare system isn't working.
How to speak out:

2. Do you know a family member or a neighbor who has struggled to get quality, affordable healthcare? Tell their story. Or, talk about concerns you have about the rising cost of healthcare.
3. Explain that healthcare won't be fixed until it's affordable for every worker in our community.
Now is the time to take strong action! We can't wait any longer because it's too important and Congress will be moving on this very quickly. Senator Gregg has not been with us on healthcare reform. It's time to call him and tell him to do the right thing for his constituents.
